Alex Jones - Enemy of the State of Reason.

Lets start, not by looking at the "straw man,"but at our giant David Copperfields disappearing data.

Iron mountain trucks at attention, hut, hut!

The first trick of the magician is to divert your attention. To make you focus on the pretty assistant, the puff of smoke or the pigeon pulled from thin air. The second trick is to control the stage and the props. It is very important to control the props.

Let me divert your focus to two of the smallest, simplest books, you're ever likely to read. Animal Farm and 1984. Both, handily enough, from the same author (available from Amazon as a budget bundle).

If you read (as many don't), they may prove useful. If you don't want to read/research or prefer a binary narrative structure, feel free to dispense with this article. The public exit is on your left.

We've taken three steps now. We've moved back from the stage, the props and the magician. We're not sitting in a dark theater calmly focused on the act. We're not in the crowd. We've developed a little perspective.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?"
Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass

Lets look at the top listings on google this week for a random search on "Alex Jones." The first is (Jones doesn't own this page, someone else must write a "peer reviewed" article on the "subject"). From there it's media companies for at least four pages (10+ actually...I stopped counting at page 10), all "on message." All recent. All topical. All the same. Overkill methinks.

Relevance 100%, but they're all from the same source ultimately; Jones's competition for your attention...the big media corporations, themselves an extension of someone else's power.

"Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past."
George Orwell, 1984

To recap (because it is important), the only place I can get information is from people who have a vested interest in giving me the information they want me to have. I've said many times the internet is not a utility, but a weapon. Voila, weaponized information, at the touch of a button. Want your political opponent silenced and not found - it's a cinch.

"We do not merely destroy our enemies; we change them."
George Orwell, 1984

The point is simple; I can rearrange the present, building out a new "search history" in a very short time. I can get my mob to run as much noise as I want, batter you with relevant imagery, talking points and ideas. When you look for confirmation, you get it from my sources and I can do it from my armchair, in minutes - what's not to like?

"War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength."
George Orwell, 1984

When YouTube take down your videos, that is OK. When Apple remove you, that seems fine too. But, when it happens in concert over a two week period, even though you've been plying your trade for twenty years and now happen to be a consiglieri to the man in the white seems a bit odd. Too perfect. Glitchy even, like a supermodel farting out loud.

It should catch your attention! "Free Press bays for Censorship." But it doesn't. You're fake outraged over fake outrage.

"No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourselves. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?"
George Orwell, Animal Farm

If the king of conspiracy gets removed by conspiracy, then you may have to accept his lost sovereignty.

"Doublethink means the power of holding two contradictory beliefs in one's mind simultaneously, and accepting both of them."
George Orwell, 1984

Please don't write; "they are private corporations, they can do what they want." While it is a facile catchall, it is a mangy cur of an answer. It's the answer that the corporate media would love to push. Corporate entities themselves are a pretty momentous dupe in their own way. What you're positing is that if capitalism is owned by corporations, you accept the authoritarian position as a fait acompli. Welcome to 1984. "You are a slow learner, Winston."

"The best books... are those that tell you what you know already."
George Orwell, 1984

Let's move on to the Animal Farm side of things. The juicy stuff. Everyone says comrade Trump is bad. Everyone says comrade trump is bad. But comrade Hillary was quite a pig too. No insult to pigs. What I'm getting at is if you're viewpoint is already given to you by a facile media and they tell you to hate, then you hate. It's that binary duopoly that the game loves. The people controlling the game don't care who you hate, as long as you play along.

"Surely, comrades, you don't want Jones back?"
George Orwell, Animal Farm

"It had become usual to give Napoleon the Credit for every Successful achievement and every stroke of good fortune. You would often hear one hen remark to another, "Under the guidance of our leader, Comrade Napoleon, I have laid five eggs in six days" or two cows, enjoying a drink at the pool, would exclaim,
"thanks to the leadership of Comrade Napoleon, how excellent this water tastes!"..."
George Orwell, Animal Farm

Why is it impossible for a country of 350 million people to examine the game that got them to this point? After all the results are pretty conclusive. The politics of "terror"are pretty well understood...if you read any history, at all.

I'm going to digress a moment. About twenty years ago in Ireland, we had electronic voting machines foisted on us by our then Premier, Bertie Aherne. People laughed and understood that the machines could easily by rigged to fix the vote. The machines wound up in a warehouse somewhere. Today it seems easier to pull this shit. People appear more facile, "politically correct," and tech focused. The documentary hacking democracy, barely raised a ripple. More people know more about Kylie Jenner's nipples. When a civic minded granny can rip truth from the grasp of tyranny, the rest of you have to question yourselves.

Even the term "truthers," which I find simply cool; people who want the truth about 911 are enemies of the "state." Now that's a sticky position to hold. But when all those videos disappear too, then yeah, what history? what reality? Run little truther, run.

"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face-for ever."
George Orwell, 1984

When Putin tells Oliver Stone, your media is controlled, that is a bit cool. The head of the FSB giving kudos to the opposition.

Let me finish on something really simple. If this can be done with "public"information, the same applies to money. Yes, you say that's really easy, it's just a series of 1s and zeros, reduced to zero. So is your're just a number (IBM helped the Jews to figure that one).

"I know who I WAS when I got up this morning, but I think I must have been changed several times since then"
Lewis Carroll, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

I am going to leave this one with a question; would Steve (Jobs) have done it?

I left them as cliff quotes this time, coz I know you're busy...

The scheme of the design is to allow all (pan-) inmates of an institution to be observed (-opticon) by a single watchman without the inmates being able to tell whether or not they are being watched.
